Description
This is a Masked Lapwing and it has been terrorising everything that moves on our place. They are nesting in the middle of a paddock and they go off at anyone or anything that gets within about 20 metres of them.
We have all been dive bombed this evil bird and if you look closely you will notice that it has bony barbs on it's wings which it uses on any predators.
Usually when it dive bombs me I have a camera and it seems to turn when it gets to about 1 1/2 metres from me - I tell you that it is hard to capture it in flight when it is trying to attack you.

I love how this fellow is walking around town, what a sweet shot
