It's hard to understand how big and vast Australia really is and this gorge in Western Australia is a good example.

I set the camera up on the lookout and then asked Steve

to press the shutter button when he could see me on Hawk's Head rock. Can you see me? It makes you realise how vast the area is.

There wasn't a lot of water in the river - if you look closely you can also notice the reeds groing in the water.

PS - no one else was game enough to go and stand on the rock as they didn't think that it was safe!!
