Beautiful property for sale, a real renovator's delight. Located in the stunning Tillegra Valley in NSW - soon there will be waterviews to complement the outstanding qualities of this house. Not to be missed - vendors very keen to do a deal.

This was an abandoned property in the Tillegra Valley which will soon become a dam to store water for the Hunter Region of NSW.

For a second I thought this might have been a place your realtor took you to see! My sister had that happen and then ended up buying the place for the possibilities. Well after one winter of not being able to stay warm they ditched it and were lucky enough to make money on it because of the land.

Yes she was and those are far kinder words than my dad used! The first time he laid eyes on the place he refused to stay overnight and said that it should have been bulldozed instead of put up for sale! I can't believe that in this day and age you would buy a house that didn't even have heat in the second story and had nothing more than a small gas stove in the living room as heat for the entire main floor. They were constantly having broken water pipes or needing to use a torch to unfreeze them in the winter and the critters kept coming in. I couldn't believe the amount that they paid for it but was even more amazed at the amount they sold it for!
