Shine

Danni and I had the pleasure of attending a private performance by David Helfgott tonight. It was held in the warehouse of one of our clients who is a close friend of David.

For those that are not aware the movie Shine [link] was based on the life of David Helfgott. He was played by Geoffrey Rush who won an Oscar for his performance.

I spoke to David's wife tonight and she was full of praise for Geoffrey Rush's portrayal of her husband and said that he played the role so well that she sometimes felt like she had two husbands.

David's performance was awesome to say the least and in between each piece of music he would get up and wander around shaking hands and saying hello to the people in the crowd.
