No, I'm not painting it.
I haven't even had the opportunity to do any more work on the other one for over three weeks.
It would need some serious cropping to make the dead tree the dominant feature (left of the clump of trees, midway between the fence posts on the right and through the small patch of blue in the dominant cloud band).
Anyway, there is no colour in the sky from sunset/rise.

I'll think about it.

That would be great, here in the outer suburbs open land and trees with character are well over half an hours drive away. There used to be trees all around us but someone decided all the trees, koalas, roos etc had to be replaced with wall to wall houses, houses were better for the economy.
Escaping from Brisbane is becoming my no1 goal, I prefer peace and quiet to drunken parties with music at rock concert volume every weekend and being surrounded with roadworks makes going anywhere difficult - just driving to Ipswich (20Km)can take nearly an hour.

Is this taken w/the new Canon? It looks so nice and pastel-like. I think I'll buy this lot and place a tent in the middle and call it home...except for when it's winter. ^^

No, this was the Olympus - it would have been too cold for you that morning:-)

Ohhhh. I know, why do you think I'm staying here in the states? =D You can use my invisible tent out there since I don't like the cold.

This is a very satisfying composition, Malcolm. And a great cloudscape to complete it.
