Turbulence

I love the rich violet colours throughout this photo, also how this light adds to the moody sky and the detail brought out in the rocks.

I really like how the soft mist below and the rougher bolder clouds above are so different in a sense.
The water falling from the rocks in the background look like the top of a massive waterfall. As if the mist are clouds that you could fall through and never hit the ground.

The detail on the rocks are really great, they're perfectly in focus and lit in just the right way with the light falling onto them. Shadows that are cast are very dark and add to the overall mysteriousness of the scene.

The dim light works well here, especially with the slight tinges of golden light falling onto the background rocks and the hill.

This photo has a feeling about it that so many don't. The colour and lighting work perfectly to create a great mood.
